Technology, The Web, and Oxford Commas.

Hello World

The first time I heard someone use the word “Blog” I got the same feeling as I did when I heard “Twoonie” for the first time. I though this new word would eventually slip into obscurity along with others like “Pog”, “Yuppie”, and “Lollapalooza”. But not to be. “Blog” is here to stay, and despite meaning little more than a website where you post things semi-regularly, it describes something quite specific. I’ve warmed up to blogs, and now rely on many for my daily dose of news and entertainment. Like all things new, I want one. I’ve launched this blog with my new website on February 29th, so if it bombs completely, I won’t have to worry about a painful anniversary next year.
